The project included the construction of 14,200 m² of stone masonry walls, one arch bridge, and 65,800 m³ of concrete works. Along the east–west route crossing the Fethiye Plain towards the Mediterranean Sea, the project was designed to collect water from the Murt River and its surrounding tributaries and safely discharge it into the sea without causing damage to agricultural land or residential areas.
